Booking conditions
How to book
- NoticeAzzurra Boats requires one day between the request and the date of departure.
- ConfirmationA booking is agreed when Azzurra Boats has confirmed the date, the time and the pickup point with you, and the deposit has been received.
- In writingAzzurra Boats replies on the same channel you used to write, and confirms every booking in writing. If you have not heard back, write to info@azzurraboats.com or call +39 375 995 0125.
Payment
- Deposit30% of the price, paid when you book
- BalanceThe rest of the price, due no later than seven days before the date of the tour
- If the balance is lateAzzurra Boats treats a booking as cancelled when the balance has not arrived seven days before the date.
- Accepted methodsCard payments, handled through SumUp
- RefundsWithin 10 working days of the cancellation
- PricesAll prices are per boat and include VAT. A price covers up to 6 guests; above that number it rises with the size of the group, and the figure quoted to you already includes it.
Cancellation by you
- The depositThe deposit is not refundable, whenever you cancel.
- More than seven days beforeNothing beyond the deposit is due.
- Seven days or lessThe full price of the booking is due.
- How to cancelWrite to info@azzurraboats.com or call +39 375 995 0125. Writing is better than calling: it leaves a record of when you cancelled.
Cancellation by us, for weather
Azzurra Boats cancels for wind, not for rain. The decision belongs to the captain and is taken for safety.
- WindThe captain decides on the day, on the forecast and on the conditions on the water. There is no fixed threshold: a wind that is safe for one crossing is not safe for another. Azzurra Boats tells you as early as the forecast allows.
- RainRain alone is not a reason to cancel. The boats close and are heated.
- If we cancelAzzurra Boats refunds what you have paid in full. If you would rather keep the booking, you can pick a new date instead. Refunds are paid back within 10 working days of the cancellation.
If you do not turn up
Azzurra Boats waits 15 minutes at the agreed pickup point.
A booking where nobody turns up is not refunded.
If you are running late, call +39 375 995 0125 as soon as you can. The skipper may be able to wait.
Limits of the service
- LuggageAzzurra Boats does not carry luggage.
- AnimalsLarge animals cannot be taken on board.
- ChildrenChildren are welcome on board. Guests under 18 travel with a parent or guardian, and life jackets are carried for every guest.
- AccessibilityGuests with reduced mobility can board. Tell us when you book, so the skipper can agree a pickup point that works and be ready to help.
- CapacityThe number of guests on board cannot exceed 12, the limit set by the boat's navigation licence.
