Some water taxi journeys on the lake are operated together with partner operators. The booking, the price and the person you deal with stay with us.
Routes
These are the crossings we are asked for most. Any other village on the lake works too.
- Como to BellagioUp the western shore, past Cernobbio, Moltrasio and Laglio, to the point where the lake divides.
- Bellagio to VarennaAcross the centre of the lake, between the two shores that face each other.
- Como to CernobbioThe first stretch out of the city, along the villas of the western shore.
- Menaggio to BellagioAcross the western branch, from the shore below the mountains to the promontory.
The start and end points are the ones we agree with you when you book.
How this differs from the scheduled ferry
The scheduled ferry
- Runs to a printed timetable.
- Leaves from and arrives at the piers on the line.
- You share the boat with everyone else on it.
A water taxi with us
- Leaves at the time you asked for.
- Leaves from and arrives at the points we agreed with you.
- The boat carries your group and nobody else.
If the cheapest possible ticket is what matters, the scheduled ferry is the right choice. We are a private boat and we are priced like one.
What we do not do
- LuggageWe do not carry luggage.
- Large animalsWe cannot take large animals on board.
- AirportsWe do not run journeys to or from airports.
How the price is set
There is no fixed price list for the water taxi. The price depends on the route and on the time of day.
Send us the pickup point, the destination, the date and the time, and we reply with a quote.
